Sometimes a course isn’t required. It’s up to a good instructional designer to determine the right solution contrary to the instructional designer’s desire to use a specific tool or try out some new strategy. When performance is the most important factor and it’s not something people will perform often, job aids are a great solution.
This job aid was the right solution for teammates needing to approve an application when someone requests access. It’s not easy to remember that so having the information available and searchable is the best way to provide help. And that’s precisely what I did here. It’s effective, helpful, and best of all costs the organization very little money compared to the alternative.
